12 STRONG

12 STRONG is the story of the 12-man Special Forces team that was dropped into northern Afghanistan right after 9/11 tasked with finding and joining an Afghan warolord and take on the Taliban. 

11:11’s Roger Nall served as VFX Supervisor for the show and 11:11 shared the vfx responsibilities with five other vendors.

Our primary contributions were dozens of digital matte paintings and over 200 muzzle flash and bullet hit shots. 

For our bullet hits, we shot a variety of plate elements of dirt, sparks and blood to achieve the specific look(s) the director desired.
